Three Points From Setoguchi Not Enough To Carry Sharks

The San Jose Sharks fell to the Nashville Predators at HP Pavilion in Overtime, 4 - 3.

Devin Setoguchi had two goals and one assist in the game. He tied an San Jose Sharks record with 10 shots on goal. The Gooch also had several breakaways that Dan Ellis stopped Setoguchi on. Ellis had 54 saves on 57 shots in the game. He was the only player on the Predators playing on his game. Unfortunately, Setoguchi couldn't shoulder the whole weight of the team. A weak performance from Brian Boucher ended up being the Achilles heel for the Sharks who went 1 for 8 on the power play.

In tonight's game, Devin had 19:16 of ice time, two goals on 10 shots, one assist and ended up with a +2 rating.

After tonight's game, Setoguchi has tallied 9 goals, 8 assists in 17 games. Notably scoring one point per game. On the season, he's a +6 rating with an average of 15:59 of ice time.

In retrospect, Sidney Crosby only has 5 goals this season and is a +5 on an average of 22:22 of ice time.
